Christmas presents

Wow I can't believe how long it has been since I was here last.  My flu has gone, only to be replaced with other health issues; nothing life threatening so all is good.
In amongst all the usual things of life, work, kids etc, I have been busy working on some christmas presents which I thought I would share with you.  One of them is still a secret so that will have to wait for another week, but these can be shown now.  i have made two table runners for a couple of friends. One of my friends has the surname of 'Noel' and it has been a bit of a joke at christmas time; you dont see my surname on all the christmas stuff!  So i happened across some fabric with Noel printed on it and made a table runner around that.
I quite enjoyed making this with the redwork and am quite happy with how it turned out.

The next runner is for another friend, I had the pattern for the angel stitchery and worked the runner around that using material from work.  I am pleased with the way the different fabrics went together; this is still a skill I have to work at.
I actually am pleased with  both and now am wondering how I can bear to give either of them away! I guess that is a good thing, it means I haven't skimped on the quality and they should both be very happy.

The last present is for someone special and while it wont be quite finished, it will be in an okay state to be given as a gift and I do think the recipient will not mind.
